Braided Crown | Madelyn Chelsea

This is our precious friend Madelyn! She has one of the prettiest manes ever so we thought we'd use her to help display our version of a braided crown. This beautiful lark has thick, long, wavy hair but this braid crown can work on any style or thickness. Here's a step by step:

STEP 1: Take a section of hair from under the ear and make a small braid. When finished secure with a small hair tie. Do the same to the other side and secure tightly.
{Make sure that the length of your small braids can stretch across your head}

 STEP 2: Take one braid, pull it to the other side, and secure it tightly behind the ear. The braid begins to act as a headband for the rest of the hair. Do the same to the other side, resting this braid either in front or behind the first.

STEP 3: VOILA! You're done! Adjust however you'd like. Secure with bobby pins as needed and feel free to pull braids and adjust their sizes as well.

Top | Forever 21 Sweater | J. Crew Leggings | Urban Outfitters Boots | Forever 21

Huge thanks to this beauty for letting us use her hair on a Friday before class! Madelyn is a singer-songwriter based out of Lexington, Kentucky. She's the kindest soul, sweetest friend, and one of the most talented singers we know. Check out her SoundCloud and find her on Instagram !

Until next time...

Meet Me: Madeline

I'm Madeline! My loves are music and writing. I'm a student falling in love with the beautiful land of Kentucky and finding joy from the little things in life. This is my first attempt at blogging, something Abby and I have been wanting to do together for a long time. I'm so excited to finally be giving it a go!
